SweFlops Mini8

Open Hardware floppy disk drive emulator: Gotek-style board with WiFi, internal NAND, and FlashFloppy.

SweFlops Mini8

SweFlops Mini8 is a modern Gotek-style floppy emulator for machines that still talk to a real floppy controller. It runs FlashFloppy on the STM32 and companion firmware on an ESP32-S3 for networking, OSD, and storage.

Images live on internal XTSD NAND (2 Gbit / 256 MB, muxed with the STM) and/or USB. The ESP32-S3 adds WiFi, a web UI, FTP, WebDAV, and an I2C OSD.

  • WiFi setup via captive portal (SweFlops AP)
  • Web UI for files, FF.CFG, firmware update, and disc transfer
  • Dual-drive connectors on the board (FlashFloppy dual-drive still evolving)
  • Open Hardware, CERN OHL v1.2; ESP firmware GPLv3+
