Greaseweazle F7 Lightning USB Lite
Greaseweazle-compatible flux reader/writer with 8-inch 50-pin header. No USB Power Delivery.
A Greaseweazle-compatible board based on the F7 Lightning design. This variant has no USB Power Delivery. It works with the official host tools and firmware. Usage notes are on the Greaseweazle wiki.
Besides the usual 34-pin header (3.5" / 5.25"), the board has a 50-pin IDC header for 8-inch floppy drives. No separate adapter is required.
Drive power comes through the 4-pin floppy power connector (typically +5 V / +12 V from a PC PSU or equivalent). 8-inch drives that need +24 V need their own spindle supply.
- STM32F730 (F7 Lightning class)
- USB-C for data and board power (no USB-PD)
- 34-pin and 50-pin IDC floppy data headers
- 4-pin floppy power connector
